Virginia Huisman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Huisman (East Haven, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pasquale Melillo and Adeline Melillo (Zurkus); her sisters, PJ Rosato and Dolly Rose; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Rose and John Shanahan.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Victor Huisman (Lisa) of North Branford, Jan Huisman Jr. (Elisa Gobany) of East Haven and Christina Mullally (Michael Sr.) of New Haven; her great grandchildren, Morgan Mullally, Michael Francis Mullally III, Matthew Mullally Jr., Erin Mullally, Dillon Mullally, Michael Vincent Mullally and Aldo Aman; and her siblings, Phyllis Shanahan and Pasquale Melillo (Linda). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great nephews.
