He was predeceased by: his mother Erma Brailey (Rogers); his siblings, Roger Brailey, John Brailey and Judith Layden (Brailey); his niece Marcia Whitney (Layden); and his great-nephew Daniel Brailey.
He is survived by: his father Silas Brailey; his children, Matthew Brailey (Patricia) and Allison Faulkner (Stephen Faulkner) of East Lyme, CT.; his grandchildren, Silas, Louis, Bryce, Miles Brailey, Edith and Maude Faulkner; his nephew Scott Brailey (Robyn); his great-nephew Jason of Groton; his sister-in-law Joy Brailey (Jensen) of Beaver Creek; his nieces and nephews, Paul, Glen and Susan; his brother-in-law Michael Katz (Susan); his nieces and nephews, Christopher, Marie Katz (Federowicz), Timothy Katz and Lauren Katz; his significant other New London; Robin Beth Brailey of Ledyard. He is also survived by his family—especially his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Alzheimer's Association, in honor of Bruce's life and in recognition of the illness he faced with courage and grace.
