He was predeceased by: his parents, John Prokop and Ida Stecewicz Prokop; and his sister Sandra Meijer. He is survived by: his wife Maggi; and his children, John [Maddie] Prokop of Norwich, Lori Langworthy [Jeff] of Colchester, Joe [Heidi] Prokop, Lisa Atkinson of Uncasville and Jeff [Allison] Prokop of New Britain. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
