He is survived by: his wife Penny of Groton; his children, Brad Kerr of Groton and Shawn Smith (Gary) of Hanover, CT.; his grandchildren, Lindsey Kaiser, Jacqueline Alves, Tasia Wescott, Will Kerr and Madison Smith; and his brother Raymond Gardner of Waterford. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
