He is survived by: his wife Patricia Johnston (Hart); his children, Brad Johnston (Patricia) of Tellico Plains, Denise (Randy) of Dadeville, Brian Johnston (Johanna) of Andover, CT and Michael Johnston of Fort Dodge, IA.; his stepchildren, Timothy Griffin of Enfield, CT, Shelly Eastham (Keith) of Enfield, CT and Tara Lapane (Eric) of Enfield, CT.; his grandchildren, Sloan Dishman (Jimmie), Hanna Johnston, Niklas Johnston, Natalie Johnston, Olivia Johnston and Emma Johnston; his great grandchildren, Emerson, Ellie Jo, Etta, Everly and Grayson; his brother Philip Johnston (Barbara); his sibling's children, Jason and Yanil (Michael Santoro); his cousins, Paula Hannah (Glenn) and Mark Foley; his aunt Dorothy Foley; and the mother of his children Deanna.
