Ruth L. (Pomeroy) Bancroft Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth L. (Pomeroy) Bancroft of East Windsor, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred W. Pomeroy, Sr. and Freida (Frez); her husband Gerald C. Bancroft, Sr.; her son Gerald C. Bancroft, Jr.; and her siblings, Donald Pomeroy (Agnes), Fred Pomeroy, Jr., Louise Haseltine (Richard) and Marion Smith (Leonard, Jr.).
She is survived by: her sister Thelma Twarz of Willington; her grandson Gerald C. Bancroft, III (Amy); her great grandchild Allison Lynn; her grandson James R. Bancroft; her great grandchildren, Isabelle of East Windsor and Jacob of East Windsor; her niece Denise Warsaw; her nephew Kyle Smith; and her daughter-in-law Donna Healy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Ruth's memory to the Broad Brook Fire Department, 125 Main Street, Broad Brook, CT 06016.
