He was predeceased by: his father Philip Gratton; and his sister Audrey Giorgi. He is survived by: his mother Mary Gratton (Wetherell) of Pomfret; his parent-in-law Dana Basto of Davis Place; his son Jason Hryzan (Jenelle Clearwater) of Wilkes-Barre, PA.; his siblings, Debra Reynolds (Russ) of Eastford, CT, Arlene Goodwin (Bruce) of Ashford, CT, Martin Gratton (Cindy) of Bradenton, FL and Mistie Hagenhoff of Collinsville, OK; his granddaughters, Brooklyn Hryzan and Crystal Clearwater; and his pet Kitty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
