The memory of Howard Raabe of Easton, Connecticut, who passed away on October 7, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Howard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Howard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard S. Raabe and Esther Tote Raabe; his son Nathaniel Damien Raabe; and his brother Patrick J Raabe. He is survived by: his son Josiah of Easton; his grandchildren, Max, Zoe, Declan, Sofia and Lilly Raabe; and his siblings, Virginia Hamer of Florida and Johnny Bittman of California. He is also survived by several nieces, and his cat.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary St. George's Episcopal Church (755 Clinton Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604).
