He is survived by: his mother Eleftheria Kastanaras; his wife Simela Kastanaras; his children, Vasilios "Bill" Kastanaras (Monica), George Kastanaras (Sarah) and Elefteria Kastanaras (Theodore Estwan); his grandchildren, Juliana, Theodore John, Evelyn, Olivia and Pappou; his sisters, Maria Koutikas and Trigona Mililli (Carlo); and his sister-in-law Argiro Papadopoulos (Savvas). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
