She was predeceased by : her parents, William Durkin and Millicent Durkin; and her brothers, William and John Durkin. She is survived by : her husband Hugh Pedersen; her daughters, Geraldine Slater (Alex) of Lawrence, KS and Roderike Pohl (Craig Brown) of Sherman, CT; her cousin Vivien Sheffield (England); her niece Justine Ellerby; her nephews, John, Paul Durkin of Fareham, England, Verl and Germany; her stepsons, Eric Pedersen of Cedar Grove, NC and Neil Pedersen (Deborah) of Chapel Hill; and her grandchildren, Travis Pedersen (Karah) of Hillsborough, NC, Jeff Pedersen (Idun Losnegard) of Stongfjorden, Norway, Kyle Pedersen (Suzi) of Asheville, NC and Nora Pedersen of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
