He was predeceased by: his wife Rosaline Dobrowolski; his parents, Stanley Dobrowolski and Caroline Dobrowolski; his siblings, Stanley Dobrowolski and Elisabeth Schmall; his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Dobrowolski and Peter Sheerin; and his nephew John D. Dobrowolski.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Ecsedy (Chris) of Mansfield Center, Peter Dobrowolski (Becky) of Willington, Marc Dobrowolski of Ellington, Kerry Salvas of Ellington and Amanda Dobrowolski of Storrs; his grandchildren, Colleen, Caitlin, Kevin, Ciara, Nick, Meagan, Patrick, Conor, Tara and Erin; his great grandchildren, Everly, Parker and Joseph; his brother John Dobrowolski; and his brother-in-law John Sheerin. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke Church (141 Maple St, Ellington, CT 06029). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Ellington Center Cemetery (95 Maple St, Ellington, CT 06029).
