He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thompson and Marian Thompson of Vernon, CT.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Thompson; his daughter Krista Liappes (John) of Plainfield; his grandchildren, Caiden, Teyton, Hayven, Harlow, Jaycek and Deekan; and his brothers, Douglas Thompson (Darlene) and Edward Thompson (Nancy). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
