The passing of Ernestine D. Elliott of Ellington, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 92. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Ernestine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ernestine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Elliott and Harriett Elliott (Nye); and her siblings, Sidney Elliott and Ruth Elliott. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Ellington Center Cemetery (95 Maple St, Ellington, CT 06029).
