Though Ralph may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Halbach (Nickles); and his parents, Hazel Halbach, and Ralph H. Halbach, Sr.. He is survived by: his sister Marilyn Gilbert (Paul) of Ellington; his niece Shelley McNamee (Robert); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bryanna, Killian, Isabelle and Teagan; his niece Sherry Gilbert of Vieques, PR; and his pet Tudie.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Luke (141 Maple St, Ellington, CT 06029). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Ellington Center Cemetery (95 Maple St, Ellington, CT 06029).
