It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond M. Tomkunes of Ellington, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alexander W. Tomkunas and Anna P. Tomkunas (Kiskunas); his siblings, Barbara Klingel and Thomas Tomkunas; and the mother of his children Gloria Foss.

He is survived by : his children, Dawn M. Dombek (Tory) of Ellington, Holly A. Poirier (Frank) of Somers and Christopher M. Tomkunes of Ellington; his grandchildren, Michael, Ashleigh, Samuel, Andrew, Jonathan and Addison; his brother Alex "Bud" Tomkunas (Patty) of Clearwater, FL; his sister-in-law Patsy Tomkunas of Manchester; and his pet Luna. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
