It is with sadness that the passing of Albert Shewokis of Enfield, Connecticut is shared. Albert, born on March 31, 1936, passed away on September 20, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Albert Shewokis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shewokis and Mary Shewokis (Youchavitz); and his siblings, Vincent, Charles, Edward, Stanley Shewokis, Mildred Keefe and Aldona Babiasz.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Bowman of Enfield, Robert Shewokis (Colette Heffron) of Pennsylvania, Darlene McKeon of West Suffield and Richard Shewokis (Dorrine) of Manchester; his grandchildren, Terri Bowman (James Benjamin), Erica McKeon (Cory Fitzgerald), James McKeon, Nina Dodge (Bryan Dodge) and Linda Shewokis (Matthew Avina); his great grandchildren, Jesse Benjamin, Joey Benjamin, AJ McKeon and Penny Dodge; his brother Paul Shewokis; and his caregiver Chris Levine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a special group of friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 8:50 AM. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Albert's memory may be made to the Connecticut DEEP CARE Fishing Program.
