With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alicia Junghans (Enfield, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Alicia's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Alicia's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Gretchen Fitzpatrick. She is survived by: her husband Edward Junghans of Ellington; her children, Heidi Junghans of Germany and Erik Junghans of Sandwich, Massachusetts.; her brother Douglas Plikaitis of Bethlehem; and her stepbrother Fr. Anthony Spilka of Johnstown. She is also survived by several cousins, grandchildren, her nieces and her cat, Callie.
It is preferred that you dress in bright colourful attire instead of wearing black.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alicia's memory to the International Multiple Myeloma Foundation.
