He was predeceased by: his parents, Brian Griffin and Gertrude Griffin (Simons); and his sisters, Barbara Allen, Virginia Tripp and Laura Del Negro.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Griffin of Enfield, CT., Shelley Eastham (Keith) of Enfield, CT. and Tara Lapane (Eric) of Enfield, CT.; his siblings, Sandra Ekvall of Florida, Martha Badeau (Ronald) of Enfield, CT and John Griffin (Charlee) of East Windsor, CT; and the mother of his children Patricia Johnston of East Windsor, CT.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
