It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Desmond McKinstry (Enfield, Connecticut), born in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, who passed away on May 31, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew McKinstry and Hannah McKinstry (McGrath). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Shawn McKinstry, Desiree McKinstry, Anthony Roy (Amanda) and Sarah Barry; his siblings, Gerald (Andrea) of East Windsor, Michael (Donna), James (Becky) of Windsor Locks and Kathleen Wargo (Michael) of West Suffield; his grandchildren, Logan and Lacey; his aunts, Rena and Kathleen; and his uncle Frank.

Because of the current COVID-19 health crisis, a Mass of Christian Burial for Desmond will be held at a later date.
