She was predeceased by: her husband Granville O Downs; her parents, Arthur Cloutier and Marie-Ange Cloutier (Blais); her siblings, Adonia Cloutier and Gilberte Joncas; and her grandchildren, William Downs, Robyn Shumsky and Heather Downs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Downs of East Hartford and Sandra Shumsky (Robert) of Enfield; and her grandchildren, Lacey Shumsky, Jodie Shumsky, Zack Downs, Cory Downs, Kylie Desautels, Nathan Schramm, Peyton Downs and Addison Downs.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
