We are sad to announce that, on December 14, 2025, at the age of 83, Duane Thompson of Enfield, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Duane may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Thompson and Sula Thompson (Grant). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thompson (Caton); his daughters, Corinna Thompson of Enfield and Lori Place of Enfield; his granddaughters, Gabriella Ann and Amelia Grace; and his siblings, David (Helen) of Maryland, Arnold of Suffield and Dawn Richards (Richard) of Maine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
