Edith Greendonner Obituary
We announce the death of Edith Greendonner of Enfield, Connecticut, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 84. Edith will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Edith will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Edith will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Edith’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bergstrand and Edith Bergstrand (Wadeley). She is survived by: her husband James Greendonner; her children, Kathy Coppinger (Bob) of Enfield, CT and Kelly Richardson of Rehoboth Beach, DE; her grandsons, Ryan Coppinger (Danielle) and Matthew Coppinger (Jessica Peitzsch); her pets, William and Harry; Lisa Tortora of Westport, CT. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Edwards Cemetery (22 W Stafford Rd, Stafford, CT 06076).
