It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edmee M Cormier of Enfield, Connecticut, born in Saint Joseph, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albenie Auffrey and Rosalie [Gaudet] Auffrey; her husband Anthony Cormier; her siblings, Alonzo, Aurele Auffrey and Rita [Auffrey] Leger; and her sons-in-law, Alan Drane, Tom Besse and Christie Oswell.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne [Cormier] Besse of Somers, Paul Cormier of Somers, Ruth [Cormier] Drane of Somers and Lisa [Cormier] Potrikus (Tim) of Somers; her grandchildren, Paul Besse (Shannon), Theresa Carllo (Frank), Danny Besse (Alicia), Michael Fushey, Jonathan Drane (Julie), Sarah Potrikus, Jennifer Drane (Brian Guers) and Eric Potrikus; her great grandchildren, Abigail Joseph, Anna, Abby Carllo, Lilla, Ellie Guers and Murilo Drane; and her sister Therese Cormier (New Brunswick) of Dieppe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
