With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elfriede Supernak of Enfield, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elfriede left this world on October 17, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Raymond Steele and George Supernak; and her children, Doris Duval, Harry Steele, Victor Steele and Jenny.
She is survived by: her brother Harry Förster; her sibling's child Bater of Bamberg, Germany; her children-in-law, Christine Steele and Jason Duval; and her grandchildren, Christy Abbatello (Chris), Angela Shaw (David), Raymond Steele, Lindsey Steele Muratori (James), Timothy Steele (Kennen), Brendon Steele (Lindsey) and Colby Steele (Lizzy). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082).
In lieu of flowers or donations, please raise a shot of Jägermeister in a coffee cup in Frieda's honor, she would have loved that.
