It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Brassard of Enfield, Connecticut, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his birth father Alex LaFountain; his adoptive father Roland Brassard; and his siblings, Pierri LaFountain and Yvette. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his mother Rose; his sister Nancy Brassard-White (Michael) of Newington; his children, George R. Brassard (Kim) of Alltmar, NY and Melissa Kornick (Jason) of Enfield; his grandchildren, Adam, John Jr., Tannor, Madison, Ella and Cooper; his stepchildren, David Rancourt of Enfield, Victoria Hoppi (Chris) of Bronston, KY and Marcy Rancourt of Enfield; his stepgrandchildren, Spencer, Brady, Drew, Joselyna and Angelina; his uncles, Charles LaFountain of Somers and James LaFountain (Janet) of Enfield; and his siblings, Chris LaFountain (Brandy) of Oakland, MI, Alex LaFountain (Lori) of West Bloomfield, MI, Mick LaFountain of Southfield, MI and Yvonne LaFountain. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
