He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline (Niles); his children, Christopher Chaput (Sue), Robin Chaput-Wright and Stephen Chaput (Lisa); his grandchildren, Clairessa Chaput, Christopher Chaput, II, Mark Chaput (Matt), Kevin Chaput, Nicole Holloway (Daron), Nicholas Chaput and Robert Bride; his sister Ellen Chaput; his sister-in-law Verna Niles; and his close friends, Rich and Gerry Berozsky.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "Friends of the Enfield Senior Center" or "BARC-CT Animal Rescue".
