She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Maskowski and Catherine Maskowski (Podlesney) of Agawam; her husband Walter J. Korona; her son Bruce John Korona; and her brothers, Edward Maskowski (Gertrude) and Henry Maskowski (Frances).

She is survived by: her sibling's children, Mary Jane Sobinski-Smith and John Korona. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Donations may be made in honor of Gertrude Korona to a charity of the donor's choice.
