She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Etter and Rose Etter (Watson); her husband William W. Grout, Jr.; her son-in-law Clermont Couture; and her sister Louise Barber.
She is survived by: her children, Kathi Hardy (Michael) of Enfield, Kenneth Grout (Doreen) of Sturbridge, MA and Kristine Couture of Windsor Locks; her grandchildren, Stacy Godin (Dean), Katie Worden (Matt), Patrick Hardy (Natalie), Dan Grout (Mary), Paula Johnson (Brenden), Kevin Couture, Kyle Couture (Muay) and Eric Couture; and her great grandchildren, Dillon, Parker, Trey, Maci, Kenley, Bryce, Carter, Caden, Henry, Caroline and Levi.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
