He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Blackwelder and Florence Blackwelder (Arieti); and his in-laws, John and Carolyn Renals. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Blackwelder (Renals); his children, Philippe Bullington, Tricia Blackwelder and Joseph Blackwelder (Alysia); his siblings, Norman Blackwelder II and Teresa B. Welch (John Guzie); and his grandchildren, Jayliana Harley and Reyna Blackwelder. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the St. Patrick King Street Cemetery (1558 King St, Enfield, CT 06082).
