It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Giordano of Enfield, Connecticut, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaspare Rosato and Rosa Rosato (Spallino); and her brother-in-law Vincent Gannuscio. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Markowski (Paul) of Ellington, Daniel Giordano of East Windsor and Linda Picard (Robert) of Enfield; her daughter-in-law Francine Giordano of Granby; her grandchildren, Nikki Palmer (Scott) of Allison Park, Joseph A. Giordano (Kate) of Enfield, Robert Picard, Jr. (Paula Jean) of Brooksville, Justin Markowski (Joshua Morin) of Chicago, Anthony Giordano (Lauren) of West Hartford, Stephen Picard (Lauren Barillari) of Boston, Danielle Markowski of Central, Madeline Giordano of East Windsor and Marissa Picard of Enfield; her great grandchildren, Robbie, Haley, Luca, Tommy and Jack; her siblings, Santo Rosato (Theresa Scafidi) of Enfield, Antonina Gannuscio of Cromwell and Vincy Gandolfo (Stefano) of Enfield; her sisters-in-law, Armandina Santanello (Mario) of Westfield, MA and Antoinetta Rosato of Enfield; her siblings, Rosario Rosato, Antonio Rosato, Anna Rosato and Anna Russo; and her siblings-in-law, Antonina Rosato, Margherita Rosato and Aniello Russo.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Browne Memorial Chapels (43 Shaker Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A procession will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels (43 Shaker Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Martha's Church (214 Brainard Rd, Enfield, CT 06082).
