He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophia Chickosky and Alexander Chickosky. He is survived by: his wife Maurine; his children, Diana Malek (Mick), Carolanne Majeski (Steve), Cindy Jack (Bryan) and Al Chickosky (Sharon); his sisters, June Caouette (late Zeph) and Jane Oswecki (Vin); and his siblings-in-law, Anna Elbrecht (Larry), Rich Gianni and Cathy Gianni. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and god-children.
