She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Douglas and Millie Douglas (Snyder) of Mary's High School. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Bakowski; her daughter Emelia "Emmy" Bakowski; her stepson Jeffrey Bakowski; her daughter-in-law Jennifer; her granddaughters, Faith, Eleanor and Janet of Enfield, CT.; her brother John Douglas of Hudson, FL; and her brother-in-law Richard Bakowski of Plainville, CT.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
