He was predeceased by: his wife Sheryl Ann Vitkauskas (Gangewere); and his parents, William Vitkauskas and Jane Vitkauskas (McSweegan). He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Vitkauskas (Dan Keating) of Enfield and Rachel Vitkauskas of Enfield; and his siblings, Ann Renstrom of Hampton, NH, Paul Vitkauskas of La Mirada, CA, Beth Coccia of Coventry, CT, Mary LaMesa of Conway, SC, Andrew Vitkauskas of Enfield, CT, Ellen Dolezel of Cromwell, CT, Amy Perry of Enfield, CT and Jennifer Clavette of Enfield, CT. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The military honors will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
