Mildred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick "Harry" Staples; and her parents, Walter Forbes and Mildred Forbes (Fellows). She is survived by: her daughters, Susan (Robert Lackenbach) and Nancy (Ernest Perry); her grandson Brett Lackenbach (Olivia); her daughters, Casey Lackenbach, Liz Staples-Perry (Isaac Olivio) and Erin Perry (Brandon Rocco); her great grandchildren, Owen, Beckett, Wrenna and Jaxson; and her sister Diane Enoch (Edwin). She is also survived by three sons along with extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at the Hillcrest Park Cemetery (895 Parker St, Springfield, MA 01129).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Millie's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
