He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kammerer and Frances Kammerer (Chaplin); and his siblings, Gerald Kammerer, Dennis Kammerer and Virginia Kammerer.

He is survived by: his wife Patty (Niejako); his sons, Kyle and Craig Kammerer; his siblings, Brian Kammerer (Mary) and Joanne Deschamp (Paul); his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Tonja, Tasha, Desiree, Dennis, Jr. and Damien; and his sister-in-law Joyce.
