Peter J. Nevers Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Peter J. Nevers (Enfield, Connecticut). Peter, born on July 6, 1945, passed away on September 19, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peter J. Nevers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Nevers and Joan Nevers (Pay); and his brothers, Richard Mantos, David Nevers, Phil Nevers (Joan) and Lindsey Nevers.
He is survived by: his children, Peter F. Nevers (Stephanie) of Nantucket, MA and Susan Thompson (Scott) of East Windsor, CT; his grandchildren, Ian Thompson, James Thompson and Sydney Blanchette (Evan); and his great grandchildren, Margot and Theo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Peter's honor may be made to the Lions Low Vision Centers of District 23B.
