He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elder and Dorothy Elder; and his siblings, John Henry Elder III and Barbara Williams. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Elder (Jackie) of Enfield; his daughter Kimberly (Paul Richard) of Suffield, CT; his brother Robert Elder (Alma) of Middlefield, CT; and his close friend George Young. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
