He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Ruggiero and Amelia Tizzano (Vitale). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ruggiero (Kowal); his son Ryan Ruggiero (Catie) of Pembroke, MA; his grandsons, Jake and Sam; his son Steve Ruggiero (Jennifer) of Enfield; his grandchildren, Monroe and Carly; his brother Thomas Ruggiero; and his sister-in-law Susan Kowal. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
