He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Sampson (McNamara); his children, Paul Sampson of Torrington, Douglas Sampson of Enfield, Andrew Sampson (Colleen) of Enfield, Richie of Waltham, MA, Debbie of Waltham, MA and Darlene Sampson of Waltham, MA; his grandchildren, Natalie and Henry Sampson of Enfield; and his sister Helen Lundberg of Waltham.
Dickie's family has suggested that expressions of sympathy may be in the form of memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
