She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph D'Amato and Arminda D'Amato (DeJesus); and her sister Linda Keenan. She is survived by: her husband William Whiteley (Bill); her son William Whiteley Jr. (Hongyan Liang); her stepdaughter Yilin; her daughter Bonnie Liistro (Brian); and her granddaughters, Hannah Beebe-Liistro (Dean) and Madison Liistro (Nikki Gilani). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
