She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Maylott, and Sarah Maylott, Sr. (Cowdell); and her brother George H. Maylott, Jr.. She is survived by: her nephews, Michael Maylott (Robbyn) of Telford, TN and Jonathan Maylott (Judy) of Somers, CT.; Trudi Barton, Rita Cheverier, Fred and Rita Stone.

“I will never forget Ruth! She was a true blue human being. Open, sincere, and kind. I met Ruth at the Wednesday Healing Service and Bible Study, prior to the pandemic. She came faithfully, driven by Mike Scuderi. Her life was enriched by a sharp mind and an open heart. Ruth was a breath of fresh air. The squirrels she fed and the flowers she admired were true companions. I spoke with Ruth several times before she became ill. A bright star smiles from above! Elizabeth Arsénio”
