She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Schiavone and Christine Schiavone (Nuzzo); her son Keith Michael Thomas; and her siblings, Frank Schiavone and Lorraine Schiavone.
She is survived by: her husband John F. Cooley, Sr.; her children, Ralph Thomas (Victoria) of Somers, Marlene Thomas (Mark DiBella) of Somers, John Cooley (Erin) of Maine, Erica Basile (John Basile) of East Longmeadow, Marcie Scalia of Northford and Mark Thomas (Danna) of Marco Island, FL.; her grandchildren, Cameron, Noah DiBella, Sophia, Marshall Thomas, Idella, Madelyn Cooley, Rickey Deprey, Danielle and John Basile; and her sister Barbara Civitelli of North Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
