She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Hitt and Ida P. Hitt (Liblanc); her husband Charles Carvalho; and her siblings, William A. Hitt III, Robert Hitt, Andrew Hitt, Raymond Hitt, Marie Henry, Arlene Welles and Doris Vincent.
She is survived by: her nephew Troy; her sister Patricia Wright of Enfield, CT; her caregiver Sharon A. Hitt of Enfield, CT; and her sister-in-law Roberta Hitt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as cherished god children.
