It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Howard Weed (Essex, Connecticut), born in Deer Isle, Maine, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Malcolm Grant Weed and Muriel Hannah Weed (Snowman); and his brothers, Wayne and Royce Marshall. He is survived by : his wife Carol Weed (Hyde); his niece Kristy Wilson of Hampstead; his nephew Victor Marshall of Wilbraham; his brother-in-law Strickland Hyde of Essex; his niece Gwendolyn Dojan (Hyde) of Goose Creek; and his nephew Jason Hyde of Westbrook, Connecticut..

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Friends of the Lymes' Senior Center, 26 Town Woods Road, Old Lyme, CT 06371.
