With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Windatt of Essex, Connecticut, who passed away on May 24, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard D. Windatt and Dorothy Alexander Windatt; his sister Joan Silzer; and his wife Beverley. He is survived by: his girlfriend Catharine Wagner; his children, Richard D Windatt (Jennifer Zauner) of San Francisco, CA and Laura Galante (Charles) of Darien, CT.; and his grandchildren, Mason, Parker, William Windatt, Connor, Quinn, Tyler and Eloise Galante.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that anyone interested in doing so, consider a donation to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation in Norwalk, CT and/or Middlesex Hospital of Middletown, CT in honor of his late wife, Beverley.
