It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan Michael DeMar of Fairfield, Connecticut, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph DeMar; his former wife Patricia DeMar; and his siblings, Charles DeMar and Marilyn Benson. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Sterling; his children, Sharon Ward (Tim) and Shawn DeMar (Ellen); his stepdaughters, Lee Sterling (Jay Soltis) and Shannon Dery (Jarett); his grandchildren, Madison DeMar, Gavin Dery, Tyler Dery and Jack Soltis; and his brother-in-law Charles Benson. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
