He was predeceased by: his parents, Isobel Broadhurst (Cavanaugh) and John Anthony Broadhurst; his brother John Vincent Broadhurst; his uncle Donald Cavanaugh; and his aunts, Jeanne Cushion and Dolores Benson.
He is survived by: his sister Betti Broadhurst-Viani (Gene) of Brant Lake, NY; his sister-in-law Rita Broadhurst of Bolivia, NC; and his aunts, Barbara-Ann Cavanaugh of Trumbull, Joan Catherine Cavanaugh of Fairfield and Ethel Cavanaugh of Fairfield. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
