It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara M. Shay of Fairfield, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James McQuillan and Theresa McQuillan; her husband Herbert "Skip" Shay, Jr.; and her children, Kimberly Shay, James Shay and Herbert "Chip" Shay.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Shay (Leslie) of Fairfield, Deborah (Sherwood) and Cindy Kozlowski (Thomas Stockell) of Stratford; her grandchildren, Jason Shay (Tara), Tayra Shay, Christopher Sherwood (Jackie), Julie Sherwood, Megan Kozlowski and Emily Shay; and her great grandchildren, Kayla Shay, Brandon Shay and Patrick Sherwood.
