He was predeceased by: his parents, Sture Hellgren and Linnea Hellgren (Carlson); his sisters, Norma (George Barthe) and Joan Benway Hellgren; and his parents-in-law, Jean Menetrey Edwards and William Alexander Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Edwards Hellgren; his former wife Vivienne Ziobro (Jay); and his niece Linnea Barthe-Stoyak (Kevin). He is also survived by his wife and four children.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Larson Funeral Home (1209 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lawncroft Cemetery (1740 Black Rock Tpke, Fairfield, CT 06825).
