She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Elliott and Angie Elliott; and her sister Carolyn Smith. She is survived by: her husband Joseph C. Russo; her sons, Joseph Russo of Trumbull and Michael Russo (Jill) of Milford; her granddaughters, Hailey and Courtney Russo; and her siblings, Peggy Smith (Ira) of Pawleys Island, SC, Bonnie Hales of Wilmington, NC, Billy Elliott (Gail) of Loris, SC and Larry Elliott. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
